The Bad Dog Theatre is located on the north side of Danforth just a few feet east of the Broadview subway stop. Tonight was the first night of the annual Globehead award. This is small community theatre that helps train and keep improv alive in Toronto. A lot of Kudo’s to everyone involved here. Talent ranges from students and up. The “Globehead” trophy is a statue with a tacky, gold-painted world globe stuck over it’s head. Somewhat reminiscent of Mr. Canoehead. This is not the Oscar - nor is it intended to be. If you like improv, or want to try your hand at it, head on down to the Bad Dog Theater or check out their web site.
Tonight at the Globehead, four teams competed to move on to the next level. Winners were decided by audiance applause.
